Exam Week is Over!

Well I've got that week out of the way and I can't wait to relax (and sleep!) at the weekend. I decided to give myself a little treat and go lusting after some shoes that are a little out of my price range...

Exciting Package and Lust Have!

Today, I came home from school to find a package waiting for me! At first, I couldn't for the life of me work out what it was but then I remembered...

I had ordered a package of Model's Own nail polishes! I was so excited when I opened it because I had ordered the Beetlejuice collection (along with the Autumn/Winter collection - yes, I know it's late!). If any of you don't know what the Beetlejuice collection is I will explain it in pictures... It is a set of 5 beautiful duochrome colours that look like this...

This is a petrol spill and one of the colours looks like this!

These really are beautiful colours and I'll definitely do an in depth review as soon as exam week is over and I've tried all of them!

School Work, Bucket List and Lust Haves

I'm really sorry for the completely uninspirational posts I've been doing for the past week or so, I've been really busy what with Christmas, New Year's and AS Level exams in a week! I've been so busy trying to catch up on the past papers I missed doing while I was away in France that I haven't even had time to think about my blog, let alone review anything! But I promise things will get better hopefully this week but definitely after Friday 13th. Yes, I have an exam on Friday 13th. :(

I also thought I would do a quick update on my Bucket List. It's still a work in progress and I promise it will be worth the wait when it's done. I'm still refining details!

But just to keep me in high spirits, I had a quick check on the BooHoo website and found these which I though I would share with you...

I thought this was an interesting design, and it seems to be quite a popular print for the new clothes on the BooHoo website so I chose this next dress which I think is much more suited for Spring/Summer. However, the first dress could make an interesting party dress!

I wish you a very happy new year and I hope you can forgive me for not posting yesterday! I really should have posted sooner in the day, rather than wait until the evening because I went out to a New Year's party!

But anyway, I hope you have a wonderful 2012 and I can't wait to start posting about spring and summer things! Winter is so last season! :)

Attention! Attention! Attention!

I thought the title might catch your attention! That phrase has been drummed into me by my French teacher today. I'm staying with a couple who run French lessons this week. I went before, in August, for one week of lessons and one week of relaxing with my family but now I'm back again for an 'intensive' course. Today was my first day of lessons. I spent a couple of hours going through some questions I had, mainly on the subjonctif, then I had a conversation class in the afternoon. I've got a packed itinerary for the week, even though it's nearly Christmas, but I'm going to be watching a French film tomorrow while my teacher is doing a lesson with some people who have just started learning French.

I'll tell you where I'm staying at the moment when I'm back home (for safety reasons, ya know) but if anyone is interested in doing some French lessons with a brilliant French teacher then make sure you take a look at my blog in about a week's time. He teaches anyone from beginners, to GCSE (or equivalent), to A level (or equivalent), to practically fluent (just to practice conversation, etc...). I really recommend them! And not because they've asked me to, in fact, they don't even know I do a blog!
